Transfer: Real Madrid grant Chelsea seven days to round up their deal
Real Madrid have granted Chelsea seven days to round up a deal for Mateo Kovacic, Goal reports.
Kovacic spent last season with the chelsea on loan from the Santiago Bernabeu and was a consistent under Maurizio Sarri.
Despite an impending two-window transfer ban, Chelsea have the opportunity of signing the Croatian midfielder, as he’s already a registered player at the club.
However, they must do so by July 1. But Chelsea are yet to Conclude over the midfielder’s future.
Chelsea can sign Kovacic, extend his loan or Let him to return to Madrid.
Real boss, Zinedine Zidane, deems the midfielder to be surplus to requirements as he his sighting Manchester United ace Paul Pogba this summer.
